Men and women have equal participation in the formation of any human society. Despite physical inequality, both have independent existence and both complement each other. In all the religions and human societies of the world, women do not have equal rights as compared to men. They have been presented as the epitome of tenderness, sacrifice and self-denial. In Islam, women have been given more rights than in other religions. Despite this, the actual condition of Muslim women in Indian society has been disappointing. Due to poverty, illiteracy and religious fanaticism and wrong interpretation, the social condition of majority of Muslim women is deplorable. In independent India, this situation is improving to some extent. Various schemes have also been made by various governments for their welfare. In the present circumstances, women are achieving new heights in education, business and other fields. The future of Indian Muslim women is bright due to the spread of Muslim education and awareness. In the coming times, they will definitely play their strong role in Indian society.
